Contest questions
The test includes high school mathematics topics through precalculus. All questions are "short answer" (not multiple choice). There will be two parts (30 minutes each), consisting of:
- Section A: 7 questions—1 pt each
- Section B: 5 questions—2 pts each
- Section C: 3 questions—3 pts each
For Part I, NO calculator is allowed; for Part II, calculators are NEEDED (any calculator allowed). To break ties: Starting with Part I (and proceeding into Part II if needed), whoever misses the earliest problem is eliminated.
