Graduation requirements

To graduate from the RDN Integrated Master’s Program and receive a Verification Statement, interns must demonstrate the knowledge, performance and competency requirements as specified by ACEND for entry-level dietitians through a minimum of 1,000 hours of supervised practice. Students must complete all requirements of the graduate degree.

Transcripts:
Upon completion of the master’s of dietetics, graduates must request an original Bluffton University transcript from the Registrar’s office that indicates the degree completion date and have it sent directly to the RDN Integrated Master’s Degree Program Director. The program director or faculty cannot do this for you.

Upon graduation the program director submits the Registration Eligibility Application to the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). This process permits graduates to sit for the credentialing exam. Cost to take the CDR exam is $200.

Each graduate will receive five copies of the Verification Statement indicating that ACEND requirements have been met. These are typically used for active membership in the Academy, licensure requirements and employer requests.
