Bluffton University senior to present physics research completed in Hawaii
April Horton ’20, a physics major from Findlay, Ohio, will share about her summer research experience in in Honolulu at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5, in Musselman Library’s Reading Room.
Horton completed an astronomy research experience through the University of Hawaii at Manoa. The Research Experience for Undergraduates internship was funded by the National Science Foundation.
Horton will discuss her research on the role dense environments play in galaxy evolution. During the internship, she analyzed galaxy clusters and used data from the Observations of Redshift Evolution in Large Scale Environments survey.
