Art scholarships

Deadline for submissions is Feb. 1, 2020.

Bluffton awards three scholarships starting at $1,000 per year to promising and talented first-year students majoring in art, graphic design, art with teaching licensure, art and writing or pre-art therapy. The scholarships are renewable for four years for art majors maintaining a 2.5 GPA.

A portfolio of artwork is required for art scholarship consideration.

You are welcome to email a link of a digitized portfolio to Andi Baumgartner at baumgartnera@bluffton.edu, or mail to Andi Baumgartner, Bluffton University, 1 University Drive, Bluffton OH 45817-2014.

Deadline for portfolio submission is Feb. 1, 2020.

A portfolio represents your skills as an artist or designer, including craftsmanship, technique, creativity and the ability to communicate visual ideas. High school seniors use portfolios to gain admission to art schools and portfolio scholarships. Professionals use them to secure employment.
