Information for Delegates
We're thrilled to invite your institution to designate a delegate to march in the official processional at Dr. J. Alexander Sider's inauguration ceremony. All delegates interested in attending must RSVP by Sept. 9, to ensure your place is reserved.
It is a longstanding tradition for colleges, universities and learned societies to send delegates to a presidential inauguration. Dressed in the academic regalia of their respective institutions, delegates march in the inauguration processional in order of the founding date of each institution.

Details
Details about check-in, attire and more will be shared via email after delegates have registered for the ceremony. Delegates who wish to process should arrive at 2:30 p.m. to the Gilliom Room in Mosiman Hall, located on the west side of campus.
Hotel
The Bluffton Inn and Suites (117 Commerce Ln, Bluffton, OH 45817) is an affordable hotel located just six minutes from campus. Other lodging may be found north in Findlay, Ohio, or south in Lima, Ohio, both about 25 minutes from campus. Lodging>>
Parking
Limited general parking will be available on a first-come, first-served basis for guests attending inauguration events. Delegates may park in the lots on Bentley Road— on the west end of campus across from Hirschy Hall. If lots are full, please park in the Sommer Center lots on the north end of campus. Hospitality
Light refreshments will be provided after the ceremony on Yoder Recital Hall lawn. Delegates and VIPs will be invited to an exclusive cocktail hour at the Bluffton Golf Course following the reception.
