Why did you choose Bluffton?
Bluffton has a great environment and a campus. Some so many wonderful people want you to be here and encourage you to be yourself
Why did you choose your major? Are your classes helpful?
I chose my major because I had so many great mentors and teachers, which made me want to be just like them. My class show me how to be just like my teachers and what goes into being an educator.
What type of job do you want following graduation? What are your career goals?
I want to become a teacher in 3rd-grade math and science. I want to come up with new ways that kids can learn no matter their background or their family.
Tell us about Bluffton’s faculty, staff, and coaches. Are they helping you reach your goals?
My coaches are nothing but helpful and make sure I am in the right classes and keep me in track for what I want. The faculty and staff make sure that I know there is help on campus and they are always there to help.
What student organizations are you part of? Why is it important for you to be active on campus?
It is so important to be active on campus that is how you make friends and get to know people that you would not have ever met in your dorm. I am involved in a lot on campus such as basketball, and Divine, and I love to go to random activities that the campus puts on.
Are you a student-athlete? If so, which sport(s) do you play, and what is the best part of being on a team at Bluffton?
I play basketball and I love how many friends that I have made just being there, they have helped me get out and do stuff on campus and not just sit in my room. They also make me feel included and welcome at all times
Have you completed an internship or other hands-on learning experience? Tell us about it and what you learned from that experience.
I am currently in early field experience and I love it I get to watch a teacher interact with her students and help them learn even if they don’t seem like they want to.
Is there anything else about being a student at Bluffton that you would like to share?
I love this campus and would not like to be anywhere else, everyone is so sweet and kind to me.
