Why did you choose Bluffton?

I chose Bluffton because it was close to home and had a very nice campus. I also really liked how nice and helpful all the people were that I encountered while on campus.

Why did you choose your major? Are your classes helpful?

I chose my major because I enjoy the mathematical aspects that come with accounting. Knowing this about myself has lead me to major in business administration and accounting since it's a broad field with many different opportunities.

What type of job do you want following graduation? What are your career goals?

Following graduation, I would like to have a job at a firm that will allow me to work my way up as I am employed there. My career goals would be to bring in enough money that I can comfortably support my family and allow for fun excursions.

Tell us about Bluffton’s faculty, staff, and coaches. Are they helping you reach your goals?

Bluffton’s faculty, staff, and coaches are all extremely supportive and are there to help us with anything that we may need. They are helping me to reach my goals both by teaching me how to succeed and by being a great example of what my hard work can lead to in the future.

What student organizations are you part of? Why is it important for you to be active on campus?

I am a part of the art club. It is important for me to be active on campus so that I can make more relationships with the students and others around campus.

Are you a student-athlete? If so, which sport(s) do you play, and what is the best part of being on a team at Bluffton?

I am on the volleyball team, and the best part of being on a team at Bluffton is the relationships that you make with your teammates and coaches. Since your teammates are typically going through similar struggles that you are, you will all get super close through your shared experiences.
