Why did you choose Bluffton?

I chose Bluffton because it felt like home right away. The campus is small, and I liked that I wouldn’t just be another number. I also had the chance to keep playing basketball while getting a good education. The coaches and professors truly cared about me as a person, not just as an athlete. That made my decision easy.

What type of job do you want following graduation? What are your career goals?

After graduation, I want a career where I can support others. My goal is to build a career that truly makes a difference while continuing to grow as a person and professional.

Tell us about Bluffton’s faculty, staff, and coaches. Are they helping you reach your goals?

The faculty, staff and coaches really care about students. My professors are always willing to help and want us to succeed. My coaches push me to be better on and off the court. They all support my goals and hold me to high standards.

What student organizations are you part of? Why is it important for you to be active on campus?

I stay involved through athletics and campus activities. Being active on campus helps me build relationships and grow as a leader. It’s important to me to give back to the community that supports me.

Are you a student-athlete? If so, which sport(s) do you play, and what is the best part of being on a team at Bluffton?

I play basketball, and the best part of being on a team at Bluffton is the bond we share. We push each other every day and grow together. It teaches responsibility, teamwork, and resilience.

Have you completed an internship or other hands-on learning experience? Tell us about it and what you learned from that experience.

Through my classes and certifications, I’ve gained hands-on experience that prepares me for real-world situations. I’ve learned responsibility, professionalism and how important communication is.

Is there anything else about being a student at Bluffton that you would like to share.

Being a student at Bluffton has helped me grow academically, athletically and
personally. I’ve become more confident and disciplined, and I feel prepared for my future. It’s a place that supports you while pushing you to be your best.
