Graduation year: 2029

Why did you choose Bluffton?

I chose Bluffton because of how small the campus is, and how welcoming everyone here is. Bluffton reminded me of my hometown.

Why did you choose your major? Are your classes helpful?

I chose my major because I want to pursue being a nurse practitioner. My classes are extremely helpful in preparing for my clinicals at Rhodes State College and for taking the NCLEX.

What type of job do you want following graduation? What are your career goals?

Theres lots of different fields and specialties within nursing, so I have plenty of options, and my clinicals will help with this decision.

Tell us about Bluffton’s faculty, staff, and coaches. Are they helping you reach your goals?

The faculty here at Bluffton is extremely helpful in wanting you to succeed. Most of my classes have hosted study sessions for exams. You can ask any questions you may have about material. The other nice thing is that most of the class sizes are small. This is good if you want to build a strong relationship with your professors.

The coaches here are also supportive of you and your goals for your academics.

What student organizations are you part of? Why is it important for you to be active on campus?

I am currently not a part of an organization on campus, but in the future, I am going to try to be more involved. I think the main reason to want to be involved with organizations on campus is to help expand the relationships you have with people, and to continue to build those bridges.

Are you a student athlete? If so, which sport(s) do you play, and what is the best part of being on a team at Bluffton?

I play softball here at Bluffton, and one of my favorite things about being on a team is the sense of family. We are all close and are with each other all the time. I’ve made a lot of good friendships with my teammates in just the first two semesters I have been here.
