WHY DID YOU CHOOSE BLUFFTON?
I chose Bluffton because it was close to home, and they offered a master’s program
for social work. I also love the nature aspect of campus.
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE YOUR MAJOR? WHAT’S MOST EXCITING ABOUT YOUR CLASSES?
I chose social work and psychology because I love talking to people and learning about their past. I always want to help in any way possible and this major allows me to do so. The most exciting thing about my classes is that they open me to the issues of not only the world but the community. They give me hope and empower me to change what I can.

GOALS?
All my professors push me to become the best version of myself not only academically but professionally as well. They are always willing to help with class work but also are there to support you in any way you might need. Having that close relationship with professors is one of my favorite things about campus.
WHAT STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS ARE YOU PART OF? WHY IS IT IMPORTANT FOR YOU TO BE ACTIVE
ON CAMPUS?
I am currently involved with Delight Ministry, social work club, and now President’s Ambassadors. It’s important to stay active on campus. I have met a lot of great friends being a part of these groups, and they have given me new opportunities. Social work club has allowed me to volunteer to give back to the Bluffton community, something that makes you feel like you are part of something bigger than yourself.
