Why did you choose Bluffton?

The deep sense of community I felt and the warmth of the atmosphere surrounding the Bluffton community.

Why did you choose your major? Are your classes helpful?

I chose history because I have always felt a deep connection with it. My high school history teacher was a huge inspiration. My classes are extremely helpful in bettering my understanding of the depth of history.

What type of job do you want following graduation? What are your career goals?

I want to be a high school history teacher, but also a firefighter. My goals are to become a firefighter and advance to the best of my abilities. I then want to go into teaching and become a principal or be an administrator.

Tell us about Bluffton’s faculty, staff, and coaches. Are they helping you reach your goals?

All of Bluffton’s faculty and staff are extremely supportive and helpful. Any questions I have are answered by one of the many supportive staff members. If one person doesn’t have the answer, a different person will.

What student organizations are you part of? Why is it important for you to be active on campus?

I am a part of Student Senate and the art club. It is extremely important to me to be active on campus. I try to get involved with everything I do.
