Mennonite pastor to explore ‘good news’ in creation
Rev. Douglas Day Kaufman, Mennonite pastor and Anabaptist Outreach Specialist for Faith in Place, will present “Finding Good News in Creation” at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20, in Yoder Recital Hall.
Amid discouraging environmental news, Kaufman will explore the gospel of all creatures, a 500-year-old teaching about how the cross and resurrection of Jesus Christ transform all creation.
The presentation will consider how Christian faith can shape perspectives on creation and offer a message of hope amid today's environmental challenges.
The event is free and open to the public.
