The 2026 annual assembly theme is "BEHOLD, I am doing a new thing."

Bluffton University to host Ohio Mennonite Conference Annual Conference Assembly

Bluffton University will host the Ohio Mennonite Conference Annual Conference Assembly on July 31–Aug. 1, 2026, welcoming delegates, church leaders and attendees from across the region for a time of worship, discernment and community connection.

The annual gathering brings together congregational representatives of the Ohio Mennonite Conference for shared worship services, business sessions and opportunities to strengthen relationships across the conference. The assembly serves as a central moment each year for collaboration, decision-making and spiritual renewal within the conference community.

University leaders note that hosting the assembly provides an opportunity to welcome church partners to campus while deepening connections between the university and its broader faith community.

“Bluffton’s relationship with the Mennonite Church is foundational to who we are,” said Dr. Gerald Mast, church relations coordinator. “We are honored to provide a space where individuals and congregations can gather, reflect and engage in meaningful conversation together.”

Additional details regarding the 2026 Annual Conference Assembly, including schedule and programming, will be shared by the Ohio Mennonite Conference as they become available.
