Bluffton University receives Ohio EPA Recycle Ohio Grant
Bluffton University has been selected to receive funding through the 2026 Recycle Ohio Grant Program administered by the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (Ohio EPA) Office of Environmental Education.
The Source Reduction Grant, as part of the Recycle Ohio Grant Program, supports communities, businesses, nonprofits and academic institutions across Ohio that initiate or expand recycling programs, encourage environmental stewardship, stimulate economic growth and support litter prevention efforts. According to Ohio EPA, grants are awarded annually through a competitive application process.
Bluffton University’s more than $9,000 grant funding will support the installation of 6 reusable water bottle units in several locations on campus.
“We are grateful to the Ohio EPA for investing in projects that encourage environmental stewardship and sustainability,” said Kathy Dickson ‘03, senior director of advancement and special projects. “This funding will help Bluffton continue creating meaningful opportunities for students and the campus community to engage in responsible environmental practices.”
