Artists’ reception set for March 17

Four senior artists from Bluffton University are showcasing their most prominent work in the Grace Albrecht Gallery of Sauder Visual Art Center. Titled, “Reflections,” the exhibit opens Feb. 19 and runs through March 22. 

Students with work on display include Kelly Bilen, an art major from Archbold, Ohio; Jenía Freewalt, an art education major from Delphos, Ohio; Adrianny Ruiz Suarez, a pre-art therapy major from Columbus, Ohio; and Amanda Scott, an art major from Millbury, Ohio. 

The artists will be available to discuss their work during a reception from 1-3 p.m. Sunday, March 17, in the Sauder Visual Arts Center. There will be an artist talk at 1:20 p.m. during the reception.

The public is invited to the exhibit and the reception free of charge. Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the week and 1-5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. 

A second senior exhibit featuring additional Bluffton University art students will open April 2.
