Assistant football coach - Wide receivers
Bachelor’s degree required and acceptance into Bluffton University’s Master of Business or Master of Education program. Strong organizational, interpersonal and computer skills are required. Appropriate knowledge of football.
As assistant coach, assist in providing coaching leadership during practices and during games, meets or matches. Recruiting and related responsibilities (i.e. phone calls, on and off campus athletic recruiting).
Other duties might include, but are not limited to: assist with team travel, field/court/match preparation, equipment care and inventory, alumni relations, or other duties to be assigned by the head coach. The director of athletics will serve as the supervisor for secondary activities that can be added to fill out a GA’s load assignment throughout the year. Potential secondary responsibilities could be, but are not limited to: facility duties, assist with event management, intramural program supervision, and sports information assignments. These additional assignments are subject to qualifications and availability and will be determined by the director of athletics in consultation with respective head coach.
Full tuition waiver with competitive stipend and room and board.
