Assistant professor in sport management

Tenure-track with doctorate; non-tenure-track with master’s

QUALIFICATIONS:
Doctorate in sport management or related discipline from an accredited institution is preferred; ABD or appropriate master’s will be considered. Excellent teaching and communication skills, a dedication to professional development and commitment to quality improvement are essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 
Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses in sport management and general education. The teaching load is typically 12 hours per semester. Other responsibilities may include advising and mentoring students, meeting with prospective students and supervising students at internship sites.

COMPENSATION: 
Commensurate with education and experience within the university pay scale.
