Clinical Educator in Nutrition and Dietetics

POSITION SUMMARY:
This Bluffton University Clinical Educator position will be appointed by the Health Sciences, Natural Sciences and Mathematics Department Chair, Nutrition and Dietetics Program Director and vice president and dean of academic affairs. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain and track student competencies and progression within the graduate program.
  • Prepare and manage affiliation agreements for site-specific rotations and experiential placements.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for graduate students regarding rotation site locations, placement logistics, and program requirements.
  • Ensure program operations and documentation align with ACEND (Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics) standards and compliance requirements.
  • Perform additional duties and projects assigned by the Program Director to support program effectiveness and accreditation.

 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor of Art or Science in Nutrition
  • Master of Nutrition or 2 years of work experience and additional licensure (RDN, DTR, CDM, etc.)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Commitment to student-centered and inclusive pedagogy.
  • Understanding of or willingness to engage with Bluffton’s mission as a liberal arts institution in the Anabaptist-Mennonite tradition.

COMPENSATION:
$25/hour

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Primarily a sedentary position with remote work.
