Adjunct professor in mathematics

POSITION SUMMARY:
This Bluffton University adjunct faculty position will be appointed by the vice president and dean of academic affairs with approval from the Math Program Chair.  The position is available for teaching undergraduate mathematics classes.  

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of an M.A.in mathematics, mathematics education or a closely related field required
  • College-level teaching experiencepreferred
  • Interest in or experience with Anabaptist or peace church traditions is a plus but not required

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Teach undergraduate mathematics courses.

COMPENSATION:
Commensurate with education and experience within the university pay scale.

DEADLINE:

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Primarily a sedentary position with hours of in-person classes per week (based on course assignment).
