Athena Wilkinson
Athena Wilkinson is a graduate of Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music and Arts and is currently attending Stony Brook University with a double major in music and women’s, gender and sexuality studies. Born and raised in Brooklyn, N.Y., she taught herself how to express her emotions through art. In the past, she was commissioned to do a piece for MLK Day. She hopes to show the beauty of embracing one’s blackness and background no matter what society says.
