Buildings and Grounds
Buildings & Grounds provides groundskeeping, custodial, maintenance, plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning and other services to make sure the university operates comfortably and smoothly. The office is located on Bentley Road across from Yoder Recital Hall and Hirschy.
Buildings and grounds also handles all parking regulation information. Vehicles must be registered within the first three days of the start of the school year, or within three days after bringing the vehicle to campus.
One of the objectives of the buildings and grounds department is to provide safe,
efficient and dependable transportation for students, faculty and staff. There are
certain policies and procedures that must be followed to operate campus vehicles.
In March 2009, the civic engagement theme Environmental Stewardship: Living in a Natural World prompted some new installments for Bluffton to become more environmentally efficient. Buildings & Grounds continues to work to find ways to contribute to environmental conservation.
