Meet the 2025-26 President’s Ambassadors

Why did you choose Bluffton?

I choose Bluffton because I would be able to play golf while also receiving higher education. I also liked the community and mission statement of the school. Lastly, Bluffton gave me the most financial aid for my high school academic achievements!

Why did you choose your major? Are your classes helpful?

Ever since I was a little girl, I have wanted to help people. I believe that the best way for me to do this is by working in the medical field! Being a biology and pre-med double major gives me the freedom to pursue almost any job in the medical field. Yes, I believe that the classes at Bluffton will successfully prepare me to excel in my future career.

What type of job do you want following graduation? What are your career goals?

After graduating Bluffton I want to go to medical school. From there I want to specialize in either Dermatology or Orthopedics.

Tell us about Bluffton’s faculty, staff, and coaches. Are they helping you reach your goals?

The faculty and coaches at Bluffton are wonderful. My coach specifically always has my best interest in heart. Whenever I have an academic conflict, he always makes special accommodations so that I am successful in both golf and in school. Bluffton faculty always has a helpful attitude and wants the best for all of their students. One of my professors even advised on how to get more shadowing opportunities.

What student organizations are you part of? Why is it important for you to be active on campus?

Science club and Multicultural Student Organization(MSO). Being active on campus allows you to connect with more people and make new friends. It also allows you to find people who have things in common with you!

Have you completed an internship or other hands-on learning experience? Tell us about it and what you learned from that experience.

I have shadowed a physician assistant. I was allowed to go into the room with patients and see what a physician’s assistant does and how they interact with patients. It also allowed me to gain information about what they were allowed to do and how they differed from doctors.

Is there anything else about being a student at Bluffton that you would like to share?

As a Bluffton student I feel that there is always someone I can find to help me academically or in life whether that is a professor or a classmate.
