You need the right technology tools to be a successful learner.

Bluffton strongly encourages student computer ownership. Although the university does not require ownership, computing and access to digital information is an important part of all academic programs.

Microsoft Security Essentials as your anti-virus software

Registered students can download Microsoft Office for free from this website:  http://www.bluffton.edu/jenzabarextensions

MS Office Professional includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access

Processor (CPU) 1 GHz or better Desktop: Intel Core 2 Duo or AMD X2 Dual Core
Hard drive (HD) 160 gigabytes or better Desktop: 250 gigabytes or better
Memory (RAM) 2 gigabytes or better 4 gigabyte or better

A network cable is recommended.  These can be purchased in the university bookstore and come in varying lengths
Monitor
 Please keep space requirements in mind. Will the monitor fit properly in/on the student's desk?
