Scholarship

Natural & Applied Sciences Scholarships

Up to ten $3,000 scholarships will be awarded in each of the following majors: biology, chemistry, dietetics, mathematics, physics and pre-med.

These scholarships will be in addition to the Academic Honors or Honors with Distinction Scholarships and is renewable all four years, resulting in a combined scholarship of up to $17,000 per year, up to $68,000 over four years. Scholarships will be awarded on a rolling, first-come-basis among all qualifying students.

Requirements:

• Applied and admitted to Bluffton University
• High school GPA of 3.4
• Minimum ACT of 28 or SAT of 1240 (math and critical reading scores)
• High school classes taken: 
  • Biology
  • Chemistry
  • Physics (optional for dietetics)
• Four years of high school math, including pre-calculus, and/or qualification for Calculus 1 through mathematics placement tests
• Personal interview
