            No littering $500 fine

A driver’s license wedged
Between the broken sign,
The powerline pole.
Electricity unscathed but crimson
Rolls  s l o w l y  down

Tied to a whipping post
New age - pistols and baseball bats
Curiously crowded corner now covered
Stuffed animals, candles, sickly sweet notes
Disregarding the authority an incomplete memo lacks
