Bluffton awards a $4,000 scholarship to promising and talented first-year students majoring in art, graphic design, art with teaching licensure, art & writing or pre-art therapy. A portfolio of artwork is required for art scholarship consideration.

Deadline for portfolio submission is feb. 28, 2018.

A portfolio represents your skills as an artist or designer, including craftsmanship, technique, creativity and the ability to communicate visual ideas. High school seniors use portfolios to gain admission to art schools and portfolio scholarships. Professionals use them to secure employment.

The scholarships are renewable for three years for art majors maintaining a 2.5 GPA.

Please submit an Portfolio Information Form along with your portfolio. Portfolios and the portfolio information form must both be received for scholarship consideration.
