Prepare for quarantine

Should you be required to quarantine:

Procedure for Notifying Residence Life
and Registrar of Student Absence

1. If a student is directed to have a Covid-19 test, the student should notify Student Life (419-358-3247 or studentlife@bluffton.edu). The Student Life Administrative Assistant will notify Resident Life and the Registrar.

2. Residence Life will assign the student a quarantine room and email additional instructions to the student. (i.e. packing list, instructions to pick up room key, etc.)

3. The Registrar will notify the student’s professors that the student should be excused from attending in-person class (CC to Jacqui Slinger). Students should contact their professors regarding course work.

Prepare a go-bag in the event you are required to quarantine:

Extra cell phone charger List of important phone numbers List of allergies Two or more complete changes of comfy clothes Fuzzy socks Fleece throw Cough drops Tylenol Vicks

Cough medicine Thermometer Toiletries Hair brush, Hair ties Prescription medications Tissues Snacks A few masks Some sort of distraction-even a coloring book and crayons or a deck of cards.
