Selections will include three dances as well as settings of familiar hymn tunes. In anticipation of Halloween, “Ghost Apparatus” will motivate the audience.

Fall Instrumental Concert

Bluffton University’s fall instrumental concert featuring the Concert Band will be held on Sunday, Oct. 22 at 2:30 p.m. 

Under the direction of Dr. Roy Couch, associate professor of music, selections will include three dances – “Danza Magicala,” “Lithuanian Dance,” and “Prelude and Polka,” as well as settings of familiar hymn tunes such as “Precious Lord, Take my Hand” and The “Water is Wide.” In anticipation of Halloween, “Ghost Apparatus” will get the audience in the mood.  

This event is free and open to the public; a free-will offering will be taken for music scholarships.
