Gibson to perform senior recital

Meghan Gibson, a music major with a concentration in performance studies, will present her Bluffton University senior recital at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, April 14, in Yoder Recital Hall. The recital is free and open to the public. A reception will follow in the lobby.

Gibson sing a mix of music ranging from the Classical to Modern periods of music. Notable pieces include “The Habanera” from “Carmen” by Georges Bizet, “In Si Barbara Sciagura” from “Semiramide” by Gioachino Rossini, “Pauline’s Aria” from “Pique Dame” by Tchaikovsky and the title song from “Phantom of the Opera” by Andrew Lloyd Weber. 

The recital is presented in partial fulfillment of Gibson’s requirements for graduation as a music major.
