Bluffton to host Junior High Mathematics Enrichment Camp

Bluffton University’s mathematics department will offer an enrichment camp from June 6-9 for students who have completed grades seven or eight, have taken and passed at least an accelerated pre-algebra course, and are interested in mathematics enrichment.

Students will explore topics including graph theory, knot theory, topological surfaces and non-Euclidean geometry. Various items will be used during the investigations including: pencil and paper, physical pebbles, string and ropes, and computer software.

The camp will meet from 10 a.m. to noon in Centennial Hall, Room 206.
