Spiritual Life Week
Christian recording artist to perform
Recording artist and songwriter Adam Cappa will kick off Spiritual Life Week at Bluffton University during an 8 p.m. concert on Sunday, April 10, in Yoder Recital Hall. The concert is free and open to the public.
Cappa released his first, full-length studio album “The Rescue” in 2012 on BEC Recordings. He had Billboard success with his first single “The Rescue” which peaked at 22 on the Billboard Christian Chart and at seven on the Billboard Heatseakers Chart for new and developing artists.
Cappa will also lead the music during a worship service right before the concert at 7 p.m. The service is also in Yoder and is free and open to the public. The service will include a message by Spiritual Life Speaker Cyneatha Millsaps, lead pastor at Community Mennonite Church in Markham, Ill.
The theme for Spiritual Life Week is “No Longer Strangers: Together in God’s Family” based on Ephesians 2:19.
One week each semester is set aside for Spiritual Life Week, a special time for focusing on Christian life. Students play a major role in planning activities during the week that help strengthen growth and faithfulness in our relationship with God. The week includes guest speakers and special times of worship.
