    Attending May Day?
Connie (Jackson) Brew
Connie has been married to her best buddy for almost 36 years. She and Terry Brew ‘82 have 2 grown children and 4 grands. They spend a couple of weeks each year traveling to Norway to visit family there and lots of time helping to care for family close by. Connie has been involved in her church as a ministry assistant for the past 10 years after a career as a mom and private school elementary teacher. The Brews send blessings to all who knew them at Bluffton U.
Beth (Gundy) Boehr
After spending three years at Camp Friedenswald where her husband, Jeff, was program director, then three years in Elkhart while Jeff completed seminary, Beth is back in Bluffton waiting for whatever is next. Beth has been working as a Physical Therapist Assistant throughout these transitions. She is grateful for a career change from teaching art to something that will be needed wherever life takes them next. They enjoy their three grandchildren as often as they can navigate the distances between them and their grandchildren. 


Jodi (Lugibihl) Diller
Jodi retired June 2018 from Bluffton University where she had worked as the administrative assistant in the music department for 20 years.  In August, her husband Gordon passed away after living with multiple myeloma for 6 years.  Jodi enjoys spending time with her two grandchildren, gardening, traveling, music and watching sports.  She has three adult daughters including Sarah Diller '11.  A trip to Florida keeps Jodi from attending the class reunion this year!



Michelle (Baumgartner) Fennel
Michelle is retired and she moved to Melbourne, Florida in 2018. 



Kerri Lyle Fisher
Kerri lives in Goshen, Ind., with her husband, Jim Fisher. She’s been working as a CPA at Everence Financial for 38 years. Kerri and Jim enjoy traveling, golfing, birding, and spending time with family. 
Rick Fricke
Rick and Kathy have two married daughters, five grandchildren with another on the way. He is still teaching at Patrick Henry High School. In June 2018, they traveled to London, Paris, Italy and Greece with a group of students and former students.

Joyce (Baumgartner) Hall
Joyce retired this past year from working with elementary-aged children in the State College Area School District as a speech/language pathologist. She enjoys volunteer work, reading, travel and music. Joyce and her husband, Marvin Hall ’77,  will celebrate their 40th anniversary in June. They have three adult children and one granddaughter. 
Ken (Skip) Simmers
Ken is the Secretary/Treasurer/Comptroller of Superior Wholesale Distributors in Lima, Ohio for the past 28 years. He was married to Kim (Michael) Simmers who passed away in 2014 from ovarian cancer. 
Michelle (Magier) Lobuglio 
Michelle just celebrated her 36th anniversary with her husband, Ed. They have lived in Medina for the last 20 years where Michelle is in her 20th year of teaching. She teaches ceramics in high school. Her hobbies include gardening and music. She plays violin in the New Horizons String Orchestra at Baldwin Wallace University. 

Laura (Becker) Voth
Laura and her husband, Dave (’78), have been married for 39 years and have lived in the same house in Bluffton for 32 years. Laura has worked at Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio in Bluffton for 37 years. Laura and Dave have two children and four grandchildren. 

Laura received her MBA from Bluffton in 2008 and enjoyed sharing graduation day with her daughter, who is a fourth generation graduate. In 2001, Laura left her social work position and became the licensed nursing home administrator at Mennonite Home. In 2009, she transitioned to the role of CEO at MHCO. She enjoys their country home, summer flowers, and organizing old family pictures. She is intrigued daily as she watched their children and grandchildren develop and flourish. 
Laura says, “People make life interesting. God is ever present.”

Sue (Liby) White 
Sue is still doing custom sewing, and now has aprons for sale on Etsy @ Aprons Goods. Her husband still works as a bio-chemist at Lonza. They have two children.
Debbie (Gehman) Witman 
Debbie and her husband, Charlie have two daughters and three grandchildren with a fourth grandchild coming in August. They have lived in Harrisonburg, Virginia for over 20 years. Debbie and Charlie celebrated their 40th anniversary last June with a trip to Alaska. Debbie has been semi-retired from her job at Harrisonburg High School after 20 years as librarian. She is now working part time at James Madison University in Carrier Library. She also volunteers at New Beginnnings Church as the church librarian. Debbie enjoys time spent with family and her hobbies include reading, church activities, bird watching, nature walks, and wildflower and day lily gardening.
