Marbeck assistant

The Marbeck assistant will serve as host/hostess to non-campus and campus organizations using the Marbeck Center facilities. Specific responsibilities will be assigned by the director or assistant director of Marbeck Center. The Marbeck assistant will supervise desk managers when the director or assistant director are unavailable and will supervise and schedule the student custodian on special projects on weekends and during special events.

The bookstore associate will perform general business duties such as waiting on customers, restocking shelves and cleaning.

The student custodian is responsible for day to day maintenance and appearance of the University Event Complex.  In addition, the building custodian is responsible for routine set-ups and special arrangements as assigned by the director of Marbeck Center.

The Marbeck Center information desk managers are responsible for dispensing information to visitors, faculty and staff, students and telephone callers. The Marbeck Center desk manager is responsible for the operation of the campus switchboard and general coverage at the Marbeck Center information desk and to enforce building policies. The area (racks, shelves, copier, mail room hallways, etc.) should be kept neat, clean and attractive.

Marbeck Center operation assistants have total responsibility for the duties involved in the daily sending, receipt and delivery of both campus and external mail. This includes sorting and delivering of campus and incoming mail and metering of outgoing mail.
