Student jobs on campus

The Learn and Earn program at Bluffton University has hundreds of student positions and employs more than 60 percent of the student body. View the various jobs available through the links to the right.

Students may apply for open campus employment positions by viewing open positions through their MyBluffton account under the Student tab. The link to Learn & Earn E-Hire is located in the left margin. Open positions can be found through the search function under the Employment Position Application link.

President’s Ambassadors and BaS mentors

There is a different application process, including referrals and a possible interview, to considered to be a Becoming a Scholar mentor or for the President's Ambassador program. Applications are no longer being accepted for 2023-24.  Applications will reopen in January 2024 for academic year 2024-25.

President's Ambassadors

The Bluffton University President’s Ambassador Program is an extension of the university marketing office and will assist in recruiting prospective students, welcome and greet guests to campus, and engage with alumni and donors. This group of high-achieving students will be positive, enthusiastic and well-informed about Bluffton University and all its programs to best represent themselves and the university. This program touches students of the past, present and future.

Becoming a Scholar Mentor

The Bluffton University Becoming a Scholar mentor program provides an opportunity for students to assist new students in the orientation to the Bluffton experience during fall semester. Qualified students chosen for this position will serve as a mentor for a section of new students in Becoming a Scholar and be directly supervised by the instructor for that section.
