Professional Enrichment Grant
Each academic year, Women's Council sets aside money to provide Professional Enrichment Grant for Students. Full-time junior, senior or fifth-year students are eligible to apply for grants to obtain professional experience in an anticipated career. Sometimes, consideration for sophomore students will be made.
For example, a grant could be awarded to cover the registration fee of a professional conference or experience. To apply for the grant, students must complete the application and provide a reference from a faculty member in their major area. Grants will be awarded on a first-come basis and each student is eligible for one grant in their academic career.
Applications will be received Aug. 1 through Nov. 1. There are a limited number of grants available each year and will be awarded on a first-come/first-served basis. If your application is approved by Women's Council you will be expected to provide verification of expenditure of funds. In addition, recipients are required to provide a short summary of their experience as a testimonial for future use by the Women's Council.
