Rooms & Meeting Spaces

MAIN FLOOR FLEXIBLE LEARNING SPACE

The library's main floor flexible learning space is equipped with mobile furniture so that library users can arrange the space for various needs.  The space is not typically scheduled for regular university classes, but faculty may reserve the space to bring their classes to the library.  The space is also ideal for group projects, meetings, presentations, and library research work sessions.  When not in use for these purposes, the room serves as an open study space for Musselman Library patrons.

Furnishings   Fourteen tables in three sizes, for tabled seating for up to 28 people.  Three mobile whiteboard dividers with others available
Technology Wireless internet access.  Podium with PC and projector/screen.  Eight public-use PC workstations nearby.

 

SEMINAR ROOM

The Seminar Room exists primarily for classes, seminars, workshops, presentations, programs, and training sessions provided by a member of the library staff or sponsored by the library. When not in use for these purposes, the room serves as an open study space for Musselman Library patrons. Other campus departments and groups are encouraged to request use of the room, with priority given to library instruction use.

Technology Wireless internet access.  Teaching console with PC, project, and sound system with various A/V inputs

 

NORD ROOM

The Nord Room is a parlor-like room in the library's lobby and is available for individual and group study, meetings, and seminars.

Note: middle school and high school students are encouraged to come to the Circulation/Info Desk on the main level for assistance in using library resources and for permission to use any library computers. Use of the Nord Room is not permitted.
