Sculpture at the Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park--Introduction and Index
The 30-acre sculpture park displays sculpture from the late 19th century to the present. The Sculpture Park opened in 2002 with the beautifully landscaped area carved out of the 125 acres comprising the gardens. It is part of the gardens--125 acres of natural wetlands, woods, meadows, and cultivated gardens. The non-profit organization opened in 1995 and, with space for a total of eighty works, plans to add additional sculptures over time.
