Young Neopolitan Fisherboy Playing with a Tortoise, 1831-33

Like Neoclassical sculpture, this rendition of a fisherboy is nude. Still he seems natural rather than an "ideal" as he sits on his net and smiles broadly as he teases the tortoise.
