Canal+ Headquarters--page 1 (of three pages)

Richard Meier
1992
101, quai André Citroën and 2, rue des Cévennes

The entrance

This is no longer the headquarters of the independent television station (Canal+), but I'm not sure who the occupant is at the present. Like all Meier buildings, this is Purist-inspired, clad in gleaming white-enamelled metal panels.

The building runs parallel to the Seine. This side fronts the land while the opposite side fronts the river. There is a fabulous roof garden but I was not allowed there. I was given permission to photograph the interior of the entrance atrium.
