Welcome to this resource page for English 303. This page mainly
contains links to sites on modern and contemporary poetry, most of which
include their own links to further sites. Note: these links worked
when this page was updated in January 2010, and I have tried to include only
sites that seem especially valuable in one way or another, but the Net changes
fast. Surf at your own risk.
The Poetry Foundation A daily poem and links to lots more: the “Harriet” poetry blog, information and poems by many poets, a “Poetry Tool” for searching out poems, audio and podcasts, etc.
Poetry Daily A new poem every day. Excellent site with an archive of past poems and links to poetry news and features. You can order books through the site or sign up for their free weekly newsletter.
Verse Daily Another very good daily-poem site.
Litline An excellent entry site for links to literary journals (print and online) and small presses. If you’re looking to send out your poems, this is a fine place to get information on who’s looking for material, their reading periods, and how to submit.
Poets.org Another rich
site, run by the
Norton Poets Online Includes information on poets published by Norton, and more. The "Poetry Links" are especially useful.

Electronic Poetry Center SUNY-Buffalo site with hundreds of links to author pages, poems, criticism, etc. Check out "Bernstein's Blog," for starters.
Twentieth-century

created by Professor Eiichi Hishikawa
of Kobe University in Japan.
The English Server General English site with lots of good links, including a set on poetry.
Links to Modern and Contemporary Poetry Resources Just what it sounds like; links to a wide variety of general sites, sites on individual poets, and electronic magazines.
Yahoo Poetry Index With lots of links to sites on individual poets, poetry magazines, etc.
Marjorie Perloff's
Home Page Includes a number of essays by one of the more influential
current critics, especially interested in avant-garde poetries. The links at
the top of the page connect to many more useful resources.
