This page displays some of the products of a graduate workshop for teachers held March 16-17 at Bluffton College. The workshop dealt with "poetry, play, and learning," with ways of experiencing the pleasures of poetic language, and with techniques for teaching those pleasures to students at various grade levels. Students in the workshop wrote a number of poems and exercises, some of which are included below, and also completed lesson plans for individual classes and longer units at various grade levels.
