Surviving a science course
This is adapted from a list compiled for Organic Chemistry students.
Grades are not intended to reflect how hard you worked, how good your intentions were, or how earnestly you applied yourself. Grades, like the score in a tennis match, reflect what you can do with the material. To improve your grades, I am happy to give you as much help as you ask for, as often as you ask for it--during the term. The end of the term is TOO LATE.
