Cost & eligibility

Cost
Students participating in the Northern Ireland semester program pay Bluffton University tuition, room and board, plus a $750 program fee. This covers program expenses, including academic credit, room and board, field excursions and one week in Dublin. Estimated additional costs are airfare ($1,200), passport ($135), visa ($125), and International Student ID card ($22). Students will not be required to purchase books for classes and the Bluffton technology fee for the semester will be waived.

The cross-cultural office will coordinate the flight arrangements. The $750 program fee is due on Dec. 1 for the following year's participation.

Students will continue to receive eligible financial aid as you would if you were taking classes on Bluffton's campus. If you have already participated in a semester program through Bluffton, no institutional aid will be awarded. If you have questions regarding aid you may contact our financial aid office at finaid@bluffton.edu.
