Policies and support
Class project policy
The Bluffton University Technology Center staff is available to assist students with class projects and with the general use of the center's equipment. However, all work must be completed by the student.
Item reservation, check-out and return policies
Faculty may reserve items for classroom use by calling the Technology Center at ext. 3459. Classroom technology will be delivered and setup at the time requested by the faculty. At least 1 day prior notice is requested.
Equipment for use outside the classroom may be checked out by faculty and students. A Bluffton University ID card is required. Items are due back to the center one day (students) or 7 days (faculty) after checkout. Equipment must be returned to the center for renewal. Faculty may put equipment on reserve for use outside the classroom by contacting the Technology Coordinator at ext. 3433. Reservations to use the conference phones must be made 48 hours in advance. This allows time to verify phone line connectivity and, if needed, conference bridge availability.
Opening and Reserving Classrooms
Classrooms may be reserved by calling Marbeck Center at ext. 3216. The Technology Center staff is unable to open classroom doors for campus groups. Please contact the responsible staff or faculty member to make the appropriate arrangements.
