A variety of resources are available for individuals as our community begins the healing and recovery process from the March 2, 2007, bus accident. Several sources are available below. Please browse and see if you can find something particularly helpful for you.
In addition, counseling services are available through the university. Contact the student life office to receive an appointment with an individual counselor/therapist. The phone number is 419-358-3247. Additionally, two grief groups are available. Weekly meetings will be in the Purple and White Room in Marbeck Center beginning March 19. Campus counselor Rosalie Stluka will lead one group at 9:30 p.m. on Mondays while a second group facilitated by Tammy Ayers, a grief counselor from Lutheran Social Services, will meet Tuesdays at noon. Individuals can feel free to attend as needed. There is no expectation that members should attend all the sessions or need to start at the first session.
