soCIAL WORK CLUB
The Social Work Club gives students an opportunity to gather to enrich their knowledge
and understanding of the profession, to engage in service projects and to develop
organizational leadership skills. This active organization plans events for the entire
campus.
SMUCKER LECTURE SERIES
Each year a guest speaker is invited to present the Smucker Lecture Series Forum presentation
and lead a workshop. Professionals are invited to attend for CEU credit.
HALLOWEEN PARTY
The Social Work Club attended a Halloween party hosted by social work department chair
Professor Jennifer Hughes. Activities included pumpkin carving, marshmallow and hot
dog roasting over a bonfire and enjoying conversation with fellow students, social
work professors and their families.
