Parking Violation Appeals
How to Appeal: Who? When? Where? Why? How?
- If you feel that you were incorrectly cited for a parking violation, you can appeal to the Student Senate Parking Committee (PC). You need to email the PC Chair at: email@example.com with the subject heading being Parking Ticket Repeal Request within a period of 5 work days of the citation date.
- After notifying the PC chair, the PC will meet with you within two weeks, at a time agreed upon between the PC chair and the ticket recipient.Bring your parking ticket with you.
- You may reschedule once if you are unable to attend a meeting. All emails must be sent before 4 p.m., the day prior to the intended meeting day.
No appeals will be given to those who contact the PC chair later than five work days after the citation date.
The parking fine for the violation is automatically added to your student account in the business office within two work days of the offense. If your parking ticket is waived by the Parking Committee, the parking fine will be removed from your student account.
