Services for students

Bluffton seeks to care for each student as a whole person, including their social, spiritual, physical and mental needs.

Our student union, Marbeck Center, was built to provide places for social gatherings and for informal, intimate conversation. With the addition of Bob’s Place, Marbeck is also the spot for open mic nights, Bluffton Idol and air band contests and friendly games of pool, ping pong or foosball.

Spiritual life activities are planned to help you grow in your walk with Christ. Every Thursday morning, the campus community gathers in Yoder Recital Hall for a voluntary Chapel worship service. Brothers and Sisters in Christ (BASIC groups) meet for Christian fellowship while ministry and service teams spread God’s love into the surrounding community.

Regular hours are maintained in the Health Center. A campus nurse and visiting doctor are available to treat minor illnesses or to provide referrals to area physicians when necessary. A counselor is also available for emotional concerns.

Look to the student handbook for information about all the various services and opportunities made available through the student life office.

Mary Conrad '11 Mary Conrad '11 With a college-student budget, the technology center is a great tool for class and personal projects. Through the technology center I have access to equipment I wouldn't be able to use otherwise. Evan Skilliter ‘14 Evan Skilliter ‘14 I chose to be in B.A.S.I.C. (Brothers And Sisters In Christ) because I wanted to grow and learn with a group of college Christians like myself, as well as have a support group to rely on when I need them.
