OCMEA is an organization of students preparing to teach public school music. Monthly meetings include presentations by teachers in the field as well as organizational meetings. Trips to other conferences and concerts are also part of OCMRA's activities. The organization is affiliated with the Ohio Music Education Association and the Music Education National Conference. Members of OCMEA attend conventions and conferences of these state and national organizations in addition to local chapter activities.
