Health and Counseling Services

HEALTH SERVICES

The university maintains a health center under the supervision of the student life office. Purposes of the health service are threefold: 1) to provide a variety of health services, 2) to promote good health on campus and 3) to develop a program of health education.

Bluffton traditional undergraduate students have access to health care services 24/7 through an agreement with the Bluffton Hospital. A mid-level practitioner with prescriptive rights is on campus 20 hours a week. If students need to be seen after hours, they go to the Bluffton University Medical Clinic at the hospital. Consultations are available at no additional charge.
